A childhood limerick to start with...

CH ASING A DREAM . . . . .
There was a dream that sprouted in some dim cavern of my mind
It was but a golden dream, to rise up and shine
But the dream demanded passion and a lot of determination.
Some simply said, “Forget it, it’s not for you”, while a few patted my back and said, “We are with you”,
With all the support that I could gather, and all my courage put together.
I quickly took my first step, towards the dream that was still farther
I gave it all that I could; my pursuit to chase my dream began.
Time, work and myself, chasing the dream together we ran.
Sometimes, on the way we spotted success that was the core of my dream.
But soon I realized that there was something more ahead, and this wasn’t the cream.
After a long long chase when I stood to relax.
I just tilted myself and turned back
I saw how far I had come,
But there were miles to go,
And I am still on my journey racing ahead with work and time,
Just in order to hear the bell of success chime.
